Dr. Patel is a board certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician. Dr. Patel was raised in New Jersey, and he has strong ties to the area. After graduating with honors from Columbia University in New York City, he returned to New Jersey to study medicine at UMDNJ- New Jersey Medical School. After graduating from medical school, he completed an internship in internal medicine at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ. He was then accepted into the prestigious anesthesiology residency program at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. After completing his residency, he was chosen to stay at Columbia to complete an interventional pain management fellowship under the directorship of renowned pain physician Dr. Michael Weinberger. Dr. Patel subsequently returned to serve New Jersey, and he has been successfully helping patients to manage their pain since then.
